Questions we actually get
What are credits?
Credits pay for the expensive bits: stills, voice, and regenerates. A 30–60s Nano Banana whiteboard starts at 50 credits ($1 on a pack). A default 30–60s video is about 156 credits. A 5-minute board is about 423, a 10-minute about 642. Export in the browser does not spend credits.
Do I have to pick a plan?
No. Buy a $5, $10, or $20 credit pack and start. Those packs are also how you top up later. A plan is only worth it if you make boards every month.
What is Starter?
2,000 credits every month. $20 per month if you pay the year up front ($240), or $30 per month if you pay month to month. Same credit pile either way.
What does auto top-up do?
On Starter it is on by default. If your balance drops under 200 credits we add a $5 pack (250 credits) so a generate does not die mid-board. Pay-as-you-go accounts top up by hand.
How do promo codes work?
Enter them at checkout. They discount the cash price. Credits you receive stay the same.
Will I lose credits if I refresh?
No. Balance lives on your account in the database. Refresh, close the tab, come back tomorrow — the number is the same until you spend or buy.
Can I change or cancel a plan?
Yes. Billing → Change plan opens the Stripe customer portal. Leftover pack credits stay. Unused plan credits reset when the next month starts.
How long can a video be?
About ten minutes of speech is the ceiling. Pick a length on the form — we show the approximate spoken time.
